• Theatre Teaching Artist: Max Gash

Max Gash is an aspiring artist who has been performing in the theatre ever since he was a child of three. Max is now working with Bethlehem's very own Touchstone Theatre, which originally opened its doors in the year 1981, which is also the year he was born. Max grew up in a small town in North Idaho called Troy where he co-founded his own theatre production company called "The Troy Players".

After graduating high school, Max attended the University of Idaho majoring in drama. After one year there he decided it was best to move on to enroll in a school of theatre that was more to his calling. That school was Dell' Arte International School of Physical Theatre. After graduation, Max toured children's theatre with "The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company" and by the advice of his good friend and clown teacher, Ronlin Forman, eventually found his way to Touchstone Theatre. Max is in the middle of his third year with Touchstone and is an artist-in-residence in the PASELA project. He "feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to be working and creating in programs like PASELA with these amazing people".
